The Story Behind iluvbingo.co.uk
On Wednesday 11 July 2007 after surfing the internet for an hour to find an
online bingo site to play. To my
amazement, there was loads and I did not know which one to sign up to. They all
offered either free cash to play or free bingo. The choice was hard so I stuck a
finger in the air and picked one. I deposited £10 and began to play. All was
going well, I thought.
It was when I won that I discovered the dreaded small print (which I had read
through quickly and agreed to), it stated that until I had deposited the
required £60, I could not withdraw any of my winnings. I felt cheated! Conned!
There was nothing that I could do apart from play my winnings on
bingo games on the
site.
On Thursday 12 July 2007, iluvbingo.co.uk was born to give online bingo players
the facts and the small print that is hidden away on the sites. So that you
don't feel frustrated and tricked like I did on my first online game, a few
friends and relatives (most avid online bingo players I hasten to add) have got
together to create this informative site to allow you to read our honest views
but also allow you to see the all important small print. Most importantly, can I
cash in my winnings and buy that car (I wish, more likely to be a take-away!) I
want!
Now, after a few months of trial and error on a few different formats, several
books, many hours of hard work (numerous hours of swearing at the pc), we are
pleased to bring you version three of
iluvbingo.co.uk.
From the offset we wanted to keep things simple and to the point. We made a list
of all the things that annoy us when we surf the internet and agreed that we
would not commit any of these annoying internet habits:
- No pop ups (or pop under's), they are both just as bad
- Just a few emails from us, we will only send two per calendar month
- Keep it to the point and keep it brief
We hope that you agree that the site gives you the information that you want to
play online bingo, if you agree, please bookmark us and use us as your online
bingo dashboard to play bingo. If you don't, email us at
iluvbingo@iluvbingo.co.uk and
tell us what you don't like?
Unlike most sites, you will receive a personal response from us and where
possible, we will incorporate your request on the site. After all, this site has
been set up by online bingo players for other online bingo players although the
site is owned by our holding company, Beat The Fat Cat Ltd.
